With its compact size, the ASUS NUC 14 Pro Barebone Kit can be placed almost anywhere and customized for a variety of uses, including digital signage, media streaming, and everyday productivity. Inside is a 1.2 GHz Intel Core 3 100U 6-Core processor with integrated graphics to get your started.

The two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots support up to 96GB of memory. For storage, you have an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot alongside an M.2 3.0 2242 slot and a 2.5″ drive bay. This system also includes built-in Wi-Fi 6E support and a 2.5G Ethernet port for high-speed internet access. Dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, along with a front-facing USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 and three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, allow you to quickly transfer large videos, photos, and other files. This kit is Windows 11 OS ready. A US power cable is included.

Performance
The Intel Core 3 100U mobile processor powers applications with two Performance cores while four Efficient cores handle background tasks. The Performance cores have a base speed of 1.2 GHz and can be boosted up to 4.7 GHz.
Expansion
There are two dual-channel DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM slots available, supporting up to 96GB. There is also an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot and an M.2 2242 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot alongside a 2.5″ drive bay.
High-Speed USB
A front-facing USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 port allows you to transfer up to 20 Gb/s with compatible devices. The front panel also includes two 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports. The rear panel includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, and one USB-A 2.0 port.
Thunderbolt 4
Thunderbolt 4 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB-C connector and features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB4 at up to 20 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort allows you to connect either one 8K monitor or up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 4 port.
Network Connectivity
Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) support provides access to the less congested 6 GHz band with compatible wireless networks. The 2.5G Ethernet port provides a fast and reliable wired internet connection.
